The oxytocin receptor (OXTR) is a G protein-coupled receptor involved in reproduction, social behaviors, and stress regulation. It is expressed in various tissues, including the brain, uterus, and heart. OXTR plays a role in labor, lactation, trust, anxiety, and bonding. While it holds therapeutic potential for disorders like autism and anxiety, more research is needed to understand its complex signaling and dynamics.

Our oxytocin receptor fluorescent and/or fluorogenic ligands have been used in a variety of imaging applications, including TR-FRET and confocal microscopy. CELT-114 and CELT-115 have been developed the team of Dominique Bonnet from the Laboratory for Therapeutic Innovation (University of Strasbourg) and have been licensed to Celtarys for commercialization.
